2019 East Midlands Ladies Conference

UNEXPECTED! Life away from home - a journey in 1 Peter.

Saturday 22nd June, 9:30am – 3:30pm, TCM Baptist Church

The 2019 East Midlands Ladies' Conference is a day of wonderful Bible teaching, sung worship, prayer, and great company of other women - at TCM Baptist Church on Lincoln High Street.

Karen Soole will be teaching from 1 Peter taking a journey through the book and looking at the theme of life away from home. Her three talks during the day will give practical teaching to take away with you:

       - Be Surprising;

       - Don't Be Surprised;

       - Keeping Focused.

All sessions will be suitable for secondary school aged girls and above. 

Karen is the unpaid women’s worker at Trinity Church Lancaster and the chair of the Northern Women’s Convention. She has recently been acting as an external consultant to develop confidence in women in personal evangelism as well as to train some in public proclamation. Karen is married to Martin who leads the AMiE church plant in Lancaster and mother to four now grown children.She loves films, Arsenal and long walks with the family labrador.


£6 including hot lunch.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to TCM Baptist Church) or online via bank transfer or credit card (please add 40p to cover the card administration charge if paying by card).


A bookstall will be available offering a wide range of Christian books, DVDs/CDs and other resources.

Directions, Parking and Travel

TCM can be found on Lincoln High Street (LN5 7RN) within walking distance of the city centre, bus station, and train station. There is a bus stop directly outside the church building.

A pay and display City Council car park is across the road on Chaplin Street. Please be aware that Chaplin Street is only accessible south bound on High Street.
