Child Protection

All of our youth leaders are fully committed and trained and have been cleared to enable them to work with young people.

Please see our current Child Protection Policy.  (This is currently under review, and a revised Policy document will be posted onto this webpage when it is available - estimated August 2007).

All our youth leaders have been properly CRB checked in line with the requirements of Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders).

Within TCM there are three layers of leadership associated with childrens work, alligned to Urban Saints:

1. Group Leader
2. Assistant Group Leader
3. Group Helper

TCM has appointed Andy Wilkins, Deacon, as our "Group Leader", in overall charge of all Childrens activities and groups.  Andy ensures all Assistant Group leaders are properly trained and resourced to be able to run the various groups offered at TCM.

All others who run groups, such as Sunday School, Seekers, Rock Solid, X-Plore are known as "Assistant Group Leaders".

These Assistant Group Leaders are ably assisted by "Group Helpers".

All layers of leadership from Group Leader to Group Helpers are CRB checked.  If you are currently involved or will be involved in TCM Youth Work as either an Assistant Group Leader or Group Helper and you need a CRB check you should download one of the following forms, complete it, and hand it in to Andy Wilkins as soon as you can.

These forms, when completed and signed by Andy Wilkins,  will formally request CRB checks to commence.
