The Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service (CCPAS)

All of our youth leaders are fully committed and trained and have been cleared to enable them to work with young people.

All our youth leaders have been properly CRB checked in line with the requirements of Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders).

Within TCM there are three layers of leadership associated with children's work, aligned to Urban Saints: Group Leader; Assistant Group Leader and Group Helper.

TCM has appointed Lois Wood, one of our members, as our "Group Leader", in overall charge of all Children's activities and groups. Lois ensures all Assistant Group leaders are properly trained and resourced to be able to run the various groups offered at TCM. 

All others who run groups, such as Sunday School, Seekers, Rock Solid, X-Plore are known as "Assistant Group Leaders". 

These Assistant Group Leaders are ably assisted by "Group Helpers". 

CRB Checks

All layers of leadership from Group Leader to Group Helpers are CRB checked. 
If you are currently involved or will be involved in TCM Youth Work as either an Assistant Group Leader or Group Helper and you need a CRB check you should download one of the following forms, complete it, and hand it in to Lois Wood as soon as you can.

Appointment of Group Helper. 

These forms, when completed and signed by Lois Wood,  will formally request CRB checks to commence.
