Rock Solid

Who?

Rock Solid is a group for young people aged between 11 and 18 (school years 7 – 13). We meet every Friday evening, during term time, between 7:30 and 9:30pm (entry is through the side door on Chaplin Street). It is a place to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, have fun and learn more about the Christian faith and how it can be applied to our daily lives.

What?

Rock Solid is designed to meet the needs of all young people, whether you’re already a Christian or simply curious to find out more. We start each evening with a Bible study, either working through a book of the Bible or around different topics and what the Bible says about them. We enjoy a packed programme of activities including sport, games, quizzes, team challenges, nerf battles and occasional outings. We have plenty of time for discussion and questions – and time each week to buy sweets and a drink in the tuck shop!

Why?

The aim of Rock Solid is for young people to be introduced to Christianity and to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus in the 21st century.

Seekers

Who?

Seekers is for primary school aged children (Reception to Year 6) and everyone is welcome. We meet every Tuesday evening (during term time) in our rear hall here at TCM from 5:30-7:00pm. Please use the side entrance on Chaplin Street.

What?

Children will have the chance to play a range of games, study the Bible and discuss what they’ve learned in smaller groups, make crafts, share a drink and a snack, and be challenged to learn a memory verse. Come prepared to have lots of fun!

Why?

The aim of Seekers is to share the good news of Jesus to all the children who come, to support them with their questions about what it means to follow Jesus and to show them what it means to live for Him everyday.
