'MAKE SPORT YOUR MISSION'
This is just to let you know about a new group which is starting up in January 2010 to encourage sporty adults to be witnesses for Christ in their sports clubs and teams.
It will be held every third Saturday of the month at the Stags Head on Newport at 9.15pm. Initially we will meet to chat, encourage each other as to how we can be better Christians in sport and pray for one another. In time, we may develop this to follow the CIS ‘Make Sport your Mission Manual’ and to play some sport together.
If you know of any sporty Christians in your churches who are passionate about reaching the world for Christ – and play sport, then do invite them to join us.
