TCM Baptist Church

Where everyone is someone and Jesus Christ is Lord!

Visiting TCM

TCM Baptist Church includes a wide range of people from all ages and backgrounds. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome at TCM.

When to Arrive

If it’s your first visit then it’s probably best to turn up around 10:15am. For directions to reach us please see the Find Us page. You’ll be greeted on the door by our Welcome Team who will be happy to help you with any questions and will certainly make you feel welcome.

If you are driving, then please use the City of Lincoln Council carpark on Chaplin Street. Please note there are charges for Sunday and Bank Holidays parking here so make sure you pay and display.

TCM has negotiated special rates with the council – for more details on accessing these rates, please contact the Admin Team.

What to Expect

For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. But please be assured that we aren’t super-spiritual beings – we all had a ‘first day’ at church. You’ll find we are a friendly bunch, and if you don’t understand something, please simply ask.

You can find more information on the running order for our Sunday morning and evening services on our Sundays pages.

What We Believe

We are a Christian church and believe that all people can have a relationship with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God’s only Son) who invites us to follow Him. We have friendly relationships with other local churches from both traditional and contemporary backgrounds.

If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith then please come along on a Sunday or contact the office to ask for a free booklet. We are a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) and we share their Basis of Faith.

Is it Just Sundays?

Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to Him. We’re not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To further encourage us we have midweek house groups, which are a great way to get to know others in the church and to share with each other about everyday living.

If you are just looking into Christianity you are welcome to come along to a house group, but you may prefer to join a Christianity Explored course. Christianity Explored is a great way to find out more about God and the claims of Christianity. We will endeavour to answer any questions you have and you’ll find other people also exploring God for the first time.

Take a look at our Church Life pages to find out more.

TCM is fully accessible with level entry and wide entrance doors. The main hall is flat throughout – other areas of the church which are usually accessed by steps can be accessed by a flat door at the rear of the church.

We aim to be an all-inclusive church, however our resources are limited. We concentrate on providing for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific accessibility needs please contact the church office
