Little Lambs

Who?

Little Lambs is for anyone who has or cares for a child between the ages of 0-5. Everyone is welcome. We meet every Thursday morning (during term time) in our rear hall here at TCM from 10:00 to 11:15 am.

What?

Children will have plenty of toys to play with and adults will have a relaxed space to chat, make friends and drink Tea (there might even be cake some weeks!)
The sessions will end with an activity or craft and a Bible based story to round off with.

Why?

Looking after little people is hard work! We aim to create a place where not only are the children entertained but also where adults feel supported.
Jesus demonstrated such love and compassion for everyone He encountered and we aim to reflect that love in our relationships too. We can’t wait to see you there!

COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, our Children’s and Youth Groups are not meeting as usual. We hope to restart these groups as soon as possible. The details below are subject to change.

Seekers

Who?

Seekers is a children’s group for boys and girls aged 4 to 7 years old (Key Stage 1). We meet on Fridays, in term time from 6:30 – 8:00pm, in the rear hall at TCM (entry through the side door on Chaplin Street).

What?

Each week we do crafts, games, drinks and snacks, and a special focus on a Bible story. We also have a tuck shop where the children can buy sweets at the end of the evening.

Why?

Our main aim is to teach the children more about Jesus and what He has done for us. We do this by hearing stories from the Bible and learning about God’s great love in giving His Son for us. We also want to make friends and have lots of fun.

So come along, we look forward to meeting you!

X-Plore

Who?

X-Plore is a children’s group for boys and girls aged between 8 and 11 (Key Stage 2). We meet every Friday evening during term time, between 6:30 and 8:00pm, in the rear hall at TCM (entry is through the side door on Chaplin Street).

What?

These Friday evenings are jam-packed with fun activities. Together we play games, do crafts, look at the Bible in a fun and relevant way and finish each evening with a ‘crazy’ interactive activity. We also have one of the best value tuck-shops in Lincoln!

Why?

The aim of X-Plore is for children to have a fun evening, to meet new people and make lasting friendships. Our main objective is for children to hear the gospel message in a relevant way that they can understand and to encourage them as they learn more about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian in today’s society.

Rock Solid

Who?

Rock Solid is a group for young people aged between 11 and 18 (school years 7 – 13). We meet every Friday evening, during term time, between 7:30 and 9:30pm (entry is through the side door on Chaplin Street). It is a place to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, have fun and learn more about the Christian faith and how it can be applied to our daily lives.

What?

Rock Solid is designed to meet the needs of all young people, whether you’re already a Christian or simply curious to find out more. We enjoy a packed programme of activities including sport, games, quizzes, team challenges and a variety of outings. During the evening there is a short talk based on the gospel and a chance to discuss in small groups how this relates to us.

Why?

The aim of Rock Solid is for young people to be introduced to Christianity and to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus in the 21st century.
